Takedown Tackle was formed in 2021 by Co-owners Austin Rodriguez and Matthew Mirelez. They both were born and raised in the Yakima Valley, which gives them a love for the outdoors and respect for mother nature. 

In return, they are dedicated to making a positive impact in their respective communities to which they reside. At Takedown Tackle their main goal is to always deliver what the customer requests even down to a custom selection. As a whole the company's motto is to “Make fishy gear for fishy people, that not only catches fish... but is built to last!”
